Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

A Theory of Continuum Economies with Independent Shocks and Matchings
Numerous economic models employ a continuum of negligible agents with a sequence of idiosyncratic shocks and random matchings. Several attempts have been made to build a rigorous mathematical justification for such models, but these attempts have left ...

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

A Theory of Continuum Economies with Idiosyncratic Shocks and Random Matchings
Many economic models use a continuum of negligible agents to avoid considering one person's effect on aggregate characteristics of the economy. Along with a continuum of agents, these models often incorporate a sequence of independent shocks and random ...

Fine value allocations in large exchange economies with differential information. [PDF]
We show that the set of fine value allocations of a pure exchange economy with a continuum of traders and differential information coincides with the set of competitive allocations of an associated symmetric information economy in which each trader has ...

We developed recurrent neural networks using the long short-term memory (LSTM) architecture to predict the decrease in continuum intensity linked to the emergence of active regions (ARs), before they become visible on the solar surface and start forming ...

Implicit Solvent Models and Their Applications in Biophysics
Solvents represent the quiet majority in biomolecular systems, yet modeling their influence with both speed and ri:gor remains a central challenge. This study maps the state of the art in implicit solvent theory and practice, spanning classical continuum

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
