Axion in large extra dimension
We examine the axion model in the large extra dimensions scenario with TeV scale gravity. To obtain an intermediate-scale decay constant of the axion, the axion is assumed to live in a sub-spacetime (brane) of the whole bulk. In this model there appear Kaluza-Klein modes of the axion which have stronger interaction than those of the graviton. The axion

ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Clustering Algorithm Reveals Dopamine‐Motor Mismatch in Cognitively Preserved Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective To explore the relationship between dopaminergic denervation and motor impairment in two de novo Parkinson's disease (PD) cohorts. Methods n = 249 PD patients from Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) and n = 84 from an external clinical cohort.

Scalar-gravitational quasinormal modes and echoes in a five dimensional thick brane
The graviscalar perturbations of thick braneworld models provide critical insights into their matter-geometry relationship, distinct from tensor modes.

A search for Large Extra Dimensions with MINOS and MINOS+
This dissertation presents the search for large extra dimensions using the rich and unique accelerator beam neutrino data collected by the MINOS and MINOS+ experiments from 2005 to 2012 and 2013 to 2016, respectively.

Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.

A Note on Large Extra Dimensions
We study corrections to the photon-propagator in a recently proposed model, where gravity lives in 4+n dimensions and Standard Model fields in 4 dimensions. We find a correction to the form factor of the photon that can be constrained by QED tests.

ABSTRACT Objective To explore how cerebral hypoxia and Normal‐Appearing White Matter (NAWM) integrity affect MS lesion burden and clinical course. Methods Seventy‐nine MS patients, including 13 clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) patients and 66 relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients, and 44 healthy controls (HCs) were recruited from ...

Thin-wall vacuum decay in the presence of a compact dimension meets the H 0 and S 8 tensions
The proposal of a rapid sign-switching cosmological constant in the late universe, mirroring a transition from anti-de Sitter (AdS) to de Sitter (dS) space, has significantly improved the fit to observational data and provides a compelling framework for ...
