Neighbourhood structure in large games
Proceedings of the 13th Conference on Theoretical Aspects of Rationality and Knowledge, 2011We study repeated normal form games where the number of players is large and suggest that it is useful to consider a neighbourhood structure on the players. The structure is given by a graph G whose nodes are players and edges denote visibility. The neighbourhoods are maximal cliques in G.

On Structural Analysis of Large Networks
Proceedings of the 41st Annual Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS 2008), 2008Containing much valuable information, networks such as the World Wide Web, social networks and metabolic networks draw increasingly attention in scientific communities. Network clustering (or graph partitioning) is the discovery of underlying clusters of related vertices in networks. But beyond organizing vertices into clusters of peers is the question

Organizing large structural modelbases
IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, 1995Presents a hierarchically structured approach to organizing large structural modelbases using an information theoretic criterion. Objects (patterns) are modeled in the form of random parametric structural descriptions (RPSDs), an extension of the parametric structural description graph-theoretic formalism.

Approaches to large-scale structures
Current Opinion in Structural Biology, 1995Quantitative three-dimensional (3D) maps of large-scale structures can now be routinely obtained by the use of high- or intermediate-voltage electron tomography. The recent 3D reconstructions of the mitochondrion and the Golgi apparatus highlight both the potential and the shortcomings of this technique.

Mobile manufacturing of large structures
2015 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), 2015Assembly of large structures requires large fixtures, often referred to as monuments. Their cost and massive size limit flexibility and scalability of the manufacturing process. Numerous small mobile robots can replace these large structures and, therefore, replicate the efficiency of the assembly line with far more flexibility.

Large structural titanium castings
17th Joint Propulsion Conference, 1981Large structural titanium castings have successfully replaced wrought fabrications in production gas turbine engines. As a result, new generation engines are being designed with large structural cast components. The more efficient material utilization and reduced machining requirements for large cast components compared to wrought fabrications result ...

Fluid structure interaction with large structural displacements
Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, 2001Calculations of viscous flows inside deformable structures can meet with difficulties when imposing kinematic compatibility conditions at the fluid-structure interface and updating the geometry of domain. Here the authors propose how to overcome these problems by considering fluid and structure as a common continuous medium in a fixed reference ...

The Large Scale Structure of the Universe
1989We discuss the constraints that three different class of observations can set on various model for the formation of the large scale structure of the Universe. These observations involve measurements of galaxy peculiar velocity and gravity, and the cosmic microwave background angular distribution.

The Challenge of Large-Scale Structure
Astrophysics and Space Science, 1996The tasks that I have assumed for myself in this presentation include three separate parts. The first, appropriate to the particular setting of this meeting, is to review the basic work of the founding of this field; the appropriateness comes from the fact that W. G.
