Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2000The possibility of local laser destruction of the trigeminal sensory root by a puncture technique is demonstrated. A fibrous scar was formed on a limited area of the trigeminal root. There were no signs of axonal regeneration, posttraumatic neuroma, or considerable changes in the Meckel sinus.

An improved method of selective destruction of bacteriophage capsids and some examples of its application are given.

Polymer Mechanics, 1972The action of laser beams of PS and PMM is considered. Changes in the microstructure of the irradiated polymer-expanded micropores-have been detected. The amount of gas in the disk-shaped cracks has been measured and the pressure determined. The amount of gas is sufficient to cleave the polymer.

Rubidium dimer destruction by a diode laser
Physical Review A, 2005We observed rubidium dimer destruction by excitation of rubidium vapor with diode laser light tuned across the Rb D-2 resonance line in a 2400 GHz tuning interval. The destruction was measured for rubidium atom concentrations in the (1-9)x10(16) cm(-3) range, pump beam power up to 43 mW, and with a 5 Torr of the helium buffer gas.
