Analysis and Improvement of Frequency Stabilization Characteristics of a Total Reflection Prism Laser Gyro

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
To rectify the low accuracy of frequency stabilization for a total reflection prism laser gyro (TRPLG), a mathematical model for TRPLG frequency stabilization was established. Wavelet filtering was introduced into the phase-sensitive demodulation process,

Designing an Automatic Frequency Stabilization System for an External Cavity Diode Laser Using a Data Acquisition Card in the LabVIEW Platform

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
The frequency stability of free-running lasers is susceptible to the influence of environmental factors, which cannot meet the long-term frequency stabilization requirements for atom interferometry precision measurements. To obtain a frequency-stabilized

Advances in FPGA-Based Laser Frequency Stabilization Techniques

open access: yesMicromachines
Laser frequency stabilization underpins precision metrology, optical atomic clocks, quantum optics, and laser spectroscopy. In recent years, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) have become attractive for this task because signal generation, phase ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

A Novel Frequency Stabilization Method for External Cavity Diode Lasers Based on PZT Modulation

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal
The method of frequency stabilization using injection current modulation can cause mode hopping in the laser. It also fails to fully utilize the benefits of PZT modulation for narrowing the laser linewidth.

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.
