Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Magnetic Fields and Non-Local Transport in Laser Plasmas [PDF]
The first Vlasov-Fokker-Planck simulations of nanosecond laser-plasma interactions – including the effects of self-consistent magnetic fields and hydrodynamic plasma expansion – will be presented.

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Influence of electron-ion collisions on Coulomb crystallization of ultracold neutral plasmas
While ion heating by elastic electron-ion collisions may be neglected for a description of the evolution of freely expanding ultracold neutral plasmas, the situation is different in scenarios where the ions are laser-cooled during the system evolution ...

Superstatistical velocity distributions of cold trapped ions in molecular dynamics simulations [PDF]
We present a realistic molecular-dynamics treatment of laser-cooled ions in radiofrequency ion traps which avoids previously made simplifications such as modeling laser cooling as a friction force and combining individual heating mechanisms into a single

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Combined Plasma and Laser Heating of Graphite
This paper investigates a novel combined laser and plasma heating test technique. Integrating the 1.5 kW Raycus RFL-C1500 laser source into the VGU-4 Inductively Coupled Plasma Facility (IPMech RAS) allowed the study of fine-grain MPG-7 graphite ablation

Infrared Thermography and DIT of Quadcopter Rotor Blades Using Laser Heating
A measuring method to detect wall flow topologies by active infrared thermography was developed. Quadcopter rotor blades were studied in typical hover and forward flight conditions, while using a high-power infrared laser to heat the blade surface.
