Neural‐network pipeline for real‐time DLIP surface‐quality monitoring: spectral entropy of WLI topographies is used to generate interpretable K‐means labels, which are transferred to time‐resolved photodiode traces. A compact dual‐input 1D‐CNN (signal + laser parameters) learns discriminative spatiotemporal features and predicts “OK/NOK” surface ...

Abstract Dental microwear texture analysis (DMTA) has emerged as a valuable method for investigating the feeding ecology of vertebrates. Over the past decade, three‐dimensional topographic data from microscopic regions of tooth surfaces have been collected, and surface texture parameters have been published for both extant and fossil species.

Representation-free description of light-pulse atom interferometry including non-inertial effects
Light-pulse atom interferometers rely on the wave nature of matter and its manipulation with coherent laser pulses. They are used for precise gravimetry and inertial sensing as well as for accurate measurements of fundamental constants.

Does an atom interferometer test the gravitational redshift at the Compton frequency ? [PDF]
Atom interferometers allow the measurement of the acceleration of freely falling atoms with respect to an experimental platform at rest on Earth's surface.

Abstract Dental microwear texture analysis (DMTA) has become a well‐established method for dietary inference and reconstruction in both extant and extinct mammals and other tetrapods. As the volume of available data continues to grow, researchers could benefit from combining published data from various studies to perform meta‐analyses.

This study develops a nano‐enzyme patch (ezPatch) targeting bone interfaces. Utilizing ligand‐to‐metal charge transfer (LMCT) catalysis and bone‐targeting ligands on copper nanosheets, ezPatch simultaneously scavenges reactive oxygen species (ROS) and generates oxygen in situ at bone‐losing sites.

Coherent matter wave inertial sensors for precision measurements in space
We analyze the advantages of using ultra-cold coherent sources of atoms for matter-wave interferometry in space. We present a proof-of-principle experiment that is based on an analysis of the results previously published in [Richard et al., Phys.

Measurement of particle flux in a static matrix with suppressed influence of optical properties, using low coherence interferometry [PDF]
Perfusion measurements using conventional laser Doppler techniques are affected by the variations in tissue optical properties. Differences in absorption and scattering will induce different path lengths and consequently will alter the probability that a
