Pound-Drever-Hall Feedforward: Laser Phase Noise Suppression beyond Feedback
Pound-Drever-Hall (PDH) is a laser frequency stabilization technique widely used for building narrow-linewidth lasers. We develop a scheme that greatly expands its noise-suppression capability and bandwidth. The idea is simply to feedforward the residual

Near‐Infrared Light‐Driven Zn/Au Janus Micromotors for Multiplex SERS Detection of Anticancer Drugs
Zn/Au Janus micromotors, propelled by thermophoretic effects under NIR light, function as active SERS platforms for single and multiplex detection of anticancer drugs. Their dynamic motion enhances analyte exchange at the Au interface, reducing saturation and competitive adsorption, thereby improving sensitivity and extending the linear detection range.

Ultrasensitive Anti‐Stokes Luminescence Thermometry in Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Monolayers
We demonstrate a highly sensitive nanothermometer using anti‐Stokes photoluminescence, also known as photoluminescence upconversion (UPL), in monolayer tungsten disulfide. A strong resonantly enhanced UPL is observed, confirming the central role of optical phonons in the PL upconversion mechanism.

The performance of coherent optical communication systems is degraded significantly by the phase noise of the semiconductor lasers. The phase noise is induced by spontaneous emission in the laser cavity and yields broadening in the laser linewidth.

We use scanning nitrogen vacancy magnetometry to directly image the weak in‐plane magnetic moments in mixed phase BiFeO3 at the nanoscale and quantify the local magnetic moments to be 18.8±2.0 μB/nm2 in the rhombohedral‐like phase and 1.5±0.6 μB/nm2 in the well‐known non‐magnetic tetragonal‐like phase.
