EHD‐LIFT: Electrohydrodynamic Laser Induced Forward Transfer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Electrohydrodynamic laser‐induced forward transfer (EHD‐LIFT) introduces electric field‐assisted control to LIFT. Through laser‐patterning a conductive absorber layer, local curvatures are induced in the donor film, enabling flow‐focusing for transfer of smaller droplets at lower laser energies.

Combinatorial Survey of Structural Phase Distribution and Magnetism in Fe‐Ge‐Te Composition‐Spread Thin Film Libraries

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Magnetic 2‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdW) materials have garnered tremendous attention. The vdW ferromagnet Fe5Ge1Te2 has a Curie temperature Tc of ≈ 270 K, which is tailorable by tuning the stoichiometry and the Fe deficiency to reach room temperature.

Pairing Non‐Fullerene Acceptors With the Right Polymer: Impact of Phase Morphology and Short‐Range Transport on Charge Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates polymer requirements for pairing with high‐efficiency non‐fullerene acceptors (NFA) in organic photovoltaics by comparing three polymer blends across varied phase morphologies. The generation of free charges is driven by fast transport‐assisted charge separation combined with slow intrinsic recombination.
