Simulation of the temperature drift of the laser gyroscope path length
The authors present the results of modeling the temperature drift of the resonator path length of a laser gyroscope based on a ring helium-neon laser with circular polarization of radiation and a magneto-optical frequency bias based on the Zeeman effect ...

Doppler-free frequency modulation spectroscopy of atomic erbium in a hollow cathode discharge cell
The erbium atomic system is a promising candidate for an atomic Bose-Einstein condensate of atoms with a non-vanishing orbital angular momentum ($L \neq 0$) of the electronic ground state.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Quantum computation with phase drift errors [PDF]
We present results of numerical simulations of the evolution of an ion trap quantum computer made out of 18 ions which are subject to a sequence of nearly 15000 laser pulses in order to find the prime factors of N=15.

ABSTRACT Subtotal hippocampal resection can leave residual hippocampal tissue, yet the immediate postoperative electrophysiologic evolution of such remnants is unknown. We describe a patient with drug‐resistant temporal lobe epilepsy in whom a hippocampal remnant was continuously monitored using a responsive neurostimulator (RNS) following subtotal ...

Laser frequency stabilization using a spatially multiplexed microfabricated Rb vapor cell
We demonstrate a laser stabilization based on a spatially-multiplexed, microfabricated rubidium vapor cell. This design integrates multiple optical apertures within a cell, enabling a single input beam to simultaneously capture both Doppler-broadened and

Optical frequency combs (OFC) provide a convenient reference for the frequency stabilization of continuous-wave lasers. We demonstrate a frequency control method relying on tracking over a wide range and stabilizing the beat note between the laser and ...

Subpicosecond laser timing stabilization [PDF]
The 0.25 Hz-25 kHz pulse timing fluctuations of a Nd:YAG CW-mode-locked laser are reduced from 20.6 ps to less than 0.30 ps rms by an electronic phase-lock loop. Stabilizer design considerations include the laser phase control characteristics, phase detector additive noise, and spurious detection of the laser amplitude noise by the loop phase detector.

β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

Effect of laser treatment on postural control parameters in patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain: a randomized placebo-controlled trial [PDF]
The management of nonspecific lumbar pain (NSLP) using laser irradiation remains controversial. A systematic review of recently published studies indicates that the effects of laser therapy are commonly assessed using only imperfect methods in terms of ...
