Low‐Temperature Gold Deposition Improves CdTe Back Contacts
Cd(Se,Te) samples are cooled during the evaporation of Au back contacts to thermally quench CdTe degradation. Reduced temperature during Au evaporation boosts PV efficiency, open‐circuit voltage, and fill factor. XPS associates these improvements with less chemical perturbation of the CdTe surface during metallization.

Flexible silicon carbide (SiC) microelectrode arrays enable high‐fidelity, multichannel cell extracellular recording and precise localized ablation. Understanding Interfacial Photoswitching Mechanisms in Atomically‐Thin TMD‐Spiropyran Hybrids
Photochromic molecules can effectively modulate the optoelectronic properties of atomically thin transition metal dichalcogenide semiconductors. Spiropyran that switches its chemical configuration upon alternating UV and visible irradiation enables light‐programmable optoelectronic devices.
