Development of a machine learning (ML) model to predict 3‐month response to CGRP monoclonal antibodies in migraine: A pilot evaluation of physician‐ML model interaction

open access: yesHeadache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain, EarlyView.
Plain Language Summary Monoclonal antibodies that target calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP‐mAbs) are effective treatments for preventing migraine in many patients but are expensive, and physicians cannot easily predict which patients will benefit from them.

Could calcitonin gene‐related peptide inhibitors prevent status epilepticus?

open access: yesEpilepsia, Volume 67, Issue 10, Page e198-e201, October 2026.
Abstract Calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP) inhibitors modulate pain and neuroinflammation, a recognized contributor to epileptogenesis and status epilepticus (SE). We examined the association between CGRP inhibitor use and SE hospitalization in epilepsy patients with comorbid migraine.

2‐Chloro‐5‐(trifluoromethyl)aniline‐Derived Schiff Base Palladium(II) Complexes: From Molecular Design to Acute Toxicity Assessment

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 15, Issue 10, October 2026.
Four new Schiff bases derived from 2‐chloro‐5‐(trifluoromethyl)aniline and their corresponding palladium(II) complexes were obtained and analyzed by multiple spectroscopic techniques. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction elucidated the structures of all the ligands and complexes 2 and 4. Their toxicity was assessed on Triticum aestivum L.

Personalized machine learning prediction of next‐day migraine persistence using digital headache diary data

open access: yesHeadache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain, Volume 66, Issue 9, Page 2066-2077, October 2026.
Abstract Objectives/Background Migraine is a disabling neurological disorder with substantial interindividual variability. Predicting whether an ongoing migraine attack will persist into the following day remains challenging. We evaluated the feasibility and predictive performance of personalized machine learning models for predicting next‐day migraine
