An autoradiographic study of the projections from the lateral geniculate body of the rat [PDF]
The projections from the lateral geniculate body of the rat were followed using the technique of autoradiography after injections of [3H] proline into the dorsal and/or ventral nuclei of this diencephalic structure. Autoradiographs were prepared from either frozen or paraffin coronal sections through the rat brain.

The effects of sildenafil ciltrate on the lateral geniculate body of adult Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus)- A histological study [PDF]
The histological effect of oral administration of sildenafil citrate (Viagra), commonly used as an aphrodisiac and for the treatment of erectile dysfunction on one of the visual relay centres namely the lateral geniculate body (LGB) of adult Wistar rat ...

Case Report: MRI Diagnosis of Wilson's Disease in a 3-Year-Old Dalmatian. [PDF]
ABSTRACT A 3‐year‐old Dalmatian was presented with anorexia, vomiting, and lethargy that progressed to neurological signs with a mixed hepatopathy. MRI identified bilaterally symmetric, ill‐defined hyperintensities in the thalamus, medial and lateral geniculate bodies, and red nuclei on T2‐weighted (T2W) and transverse T2W fluid‐attenuation inversion ...

The Organization of Central Retinal Projections in Anna's Hummingbirds (Calypte anna) and Zebra Finches (Taeniopygia castanotis). [PDF]
Retinal projections in the Anna's hummingbirds (Calypte anna) where studied using intraocular injections of a neural tracer and compared to those of a non‐hovering species, the Zebra finch (Taeniopygia castanotis). Retinal targets in both birds were similar and correspond closely to those reported in other birds from a variety of avian clades ...
