The bottom of the lattice of BCK-varieties
Confirming a conjecture of Pałasiński and Wroński, we show that the bottom of the lattice of subvarieties of BCK is Y-shaped.

Role of Intrinsic Electron Trapping in Negative Charging of Amorphous Alumina
Intrinsic electron trapping in amorphous Al2O3 is examined using hybrid‐DFT models spanning a wide density range. Both spontaneous and thermally activated trapping are identified, with pronounced spontaneous localization in dense, partly crystallized structures.

A reduction theorem for ring varieties whose subvariety lattice is distributive [PDF]
We prove a theorem (for arbitrary ring varieties and, in a stronger form, for varieties of associative rings) which basically reduces the problem of a description of varieties with distributive subvariety lattice to the case of algebras over a finite ...

The yield of cowpea varieties is affected by environmental variability. Hence, candidate varieties must be tested for yield stability before release. This study assessed the impacts of genotypes, environments, and their interaction on the performance of ...

Spin current pumped by confined breathing skyrmion
Spin pumping is a widely recognized method to generate the spin current in the spintronics, which can be found in varieties of magnetic materials and is acknowledged as a fundamentally dynamic process equivalent to the spin-transfer torque. In this work,

Lipidic nanoparticles (LNPs) were incubated with 21 gut bacteria frequently associated with the human microbiome. SAXS revealed that ∼75% of tested species induced structural transformations in monoolein LNPs, whereas phytantriol and phospholipid formulations remained unaffected.

Upper-modular and related elements of the lattice of commutative semigroup varieties [PDF]
We completely determine upper-modular, codistributive and costandard elements in the lattice of all commutative semigroup varieties. In particular, we prove that the properties of being upper-modular and codistributive elements in the mentioned lattice ...

On the lattice of $o$-approximable $\ell$-varieties [PDF]
An \(\ell\)-variety satisfying \((x\wedge y^{-1} x^{-1}y) \vee e=e\) is called o-approximable. The author shows that the lattice \(L_ o\) of all o-approximable \(\ell\)-varieties has not the covering property (namely, he constructs a variety \(V\in L_ o\) which is not the greatest element of \(L_ o\) and has no cover in \(L_ o)\).

Multiscale experiments and modeling reveal how Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets reinforce PVDF nanocomposites. An optimal MXene loading (∼1 wt.%) nearly doubles tensile strength through efficient stress transfer, flake alignment, and crack‐deflection mechanisms, transforming ductile polymer behavior into a controlled multi‐stage fracture pathway which aligns ...

The fundamental problems of the modern state of the studies of organic–inorganic organo-halide perovskites (OHP) as basis for high efficiency thin film solar cells are discussed. Perovskite varieties and background properties are introduced.
