Varieties of aperiodic monoids with central idempotents whose subvariety lattice is distributive [PDF]
We completely classify all varieties of aperiodic monoids with central idempotents whose subvariety lattice is distributive.Comment: 23 ...

We show that there are varieties of somewhat different loop soliton lattices when we specify an integration path in No Integrability Aesthetic Field Theory. These are illustrated using two dimensional computer maps.

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

Density-field structures in a few systems undergoing velocity ordering [PDF]
We consider two (off-lattice) varieties of out-of-equilibrium systems, viz., granular and active matter systems, that, in addition to displaying velocity ordering, exhibit fascinating pattern formation in the density field, similar to those during vapor ...

Hydrogen‐Assisted Fracture of Iron‐Based Fe–Ni–Al Alloys
Principal relations and fracture mechanisms of single‐phase and precipitate‐strengthened Fe–Ni–Al alloys subjected to prior electrochemical hydrogen charging are identified. The mechanisms of hydrogen effect on strength and microhardness are discussed, including hydrogen‐induced increase in microhardness and the role of hydrogen in fracture behavior ...

Congruences and amalgamation in small lattice varieties [PDF]
Bibliography: pages 108-110.When it became apparent that many varieties of algebras do not satisfy the Amalgamation Property, George Grätzer introduced the concept of an amalgamation class of a variety .

Varieties of Distributive Rotational Lattices [PDF]
summary:A rotational lattice is a structure $\langle L;\vee ,\wedge , g\rangle $ where $L=\langle L;\vee ,\wedge \rangle $ is a lattice and $g$ is a lattice automorphism of finite order.

Genetic variability for carotenoid content of grains in a composite maize population
Local maize (Zea mays L.) varieties are cultivated by small-scale farmers in western Santa Catarina (SC) State, in southern Brazil. These small areas frequently present many problems related to biotic and non-biotic stresses, which have limited the ...

Quiver gauge theories: beyond reflexivity
Reflexive polygons have been extensively studied in a variety of contexts in mathematics and physics. We generalize this programme by looking at the 45 different lattice polygons with two interior points up to SL(2,ℤ) equivalence.

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation
