Multi‐Pathway Upconversion Emission in Symmetry‐Broken Nanocavities: Broadband Multiresonant Enhancement and Anti‐Correlated Interfacial Sensitivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Symmetry‐broken plasmonic nanoantenna arrays achieve broadband multiresonant enhancement of second harmonic generation (SHG), third harmonic generation (THG), and upconversion photoluminescence (UCPL), under femtosecond laser excitation across the near‐infrared range (1000–1600 nm).

Mass-improvement of the vector current in three-flavor QCD

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We determine two improvement coefficients which are relevant to cancel mass-dependent cutoff effects in correlation functions with operator insertions of the non-singlet local QCD vector current. This determination is based on degenerate three-flavor QCD

Deconfined quantum criticality in the two dimensional Kondo lattice model

open access: yes, 2005
We investigate the continuous quantum phase transition from an antiferromagnetic metal to a heavy fermion liquid based on the Kondo lattice model in two dimensions.

Discovery of an Intrinsic Antiferromagnetic Semiconductor EuSc2Te4 With Magnetism‐Driven Nonlinear Transport

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
EuSc₂Te₄, an antiferromagnetic semiconductor, exhibits a nonlinear Hall effect (NLHE) characterized by quadratic current–voltage behavior. Combined experimental and theoretical studies reveal that this NLHE is linked to its antiferromagnetism and involves contributions from the quantum metric.

Lattice representation of vector and chiral gauge theories [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2004
A lattice derivative is defined as a discrete Fourier transform of momentum on a finite lattice. Species doublers are removed with anti-periodic boundary conditions. U(1) chiral transformation is modified to reproduce chiral anomaly. Chiral gauge theories can be constructed on the lattice using a single Weyl fermion as a building block.

The Quantized $O(1,2)/O(2)\times Z_2$ Sigma Model Has No Continuum Limit in Four Dimensions. I. Theoretical Framework

open access: yes, 1992
The nonlinear sigma model for which the field takes its values in the coset space $O(1,2)/O(2)\times Z_2$ is similar to quantum gravity in being perturbatively nonrenormalizable and having a noncompact curved configuration space.

Highly Efficient 3D‐Printed PVDF‐Based Triboelectric Nanogenerators Featuring Polymorphic Perovskite Nanofillers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates the use of a low‐cost 3D printing technique to prepare a large‐area PVDF‐FAPbI3 composite dielectric film for flexible TENG application. The δ→α phase transformation of the FAPbI3 nanofillers has significantly improved the β‐phase content, morphology, and dielectric properties of the PVDF film.

Color confinement and random matrices. A random walk down group manifold toward Casimir scaling

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We explain the microscopic origin of linear confinement potential with the Casimir scaling in generic confining gauge theories. In the low-temperature regime of confining gauge theories such as QCD, Polyakov lines are slowly varying Haar random modulo ...

Determination of the properties of vector mesons in external magnetic field by quenched SU(3) lattice QCD

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We investigate the ground state energies of vector ρ ± and K ±∗ mesons depending on the magnetic field value in the SU(3) lattice gauge theory. It has been shown that the energy of a vector particle depends on its spin projection on the field axis.
