To Avoid or Not to Avoid: Cross‐Reactivity Between Fragrance and Common Botanicals

Repeated Exposure to Hydroperoxides of Linalool Induces Immunologically Verified Allergic Contact Dermatitis

Patch testing and repeated use (ROAT) with Lin‐OOH revealed dose‐dependent reactions in sensitised individuals. Lin‐OOH 1.0% was the most reliable patch test concentration to confirm CA in our cohort. Skin biopsy gene expression analysis shows upregulation of IL1β, IL4, GATA3 and CCL22, confirming activation of immune pathways consistent with fragrance

Therapeutic effect of NEO400, perillyl alcohol conjugated to linoleic acid, in a mouse model of UV‐induced skin damage

In the present work with mouse models, we demonstrate that a novel compound, NEO400, is able to profoundly protect skin against damage caused by UV radiation (UVR) when it is applied to skin post‐UVR exposure. In comparison, Aloe vera or linoleic acid are unable to achieve a similar level of protection.
