A note on the subleading soft graviton
We show that the soft part of the charge generating infinitesimal superrotations can be expressed, in harmonic gauge, in terms of metric components evaluated at the boundaries of null infinity that are subleading in a large radius expansion.

Conformally soft photons and gravitons
The four-dimensional S-matrix is reconsidered as a correlator on the celestial sphere at null infinity. Asymptotic particle states can be characterized by the point at which they enter or exit the celestial sphere as well as their SL(2, ℂ) Lorentz ...

An effective matrix model for dynamical end of the world branes in Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity
We study Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity with dynamical end of the world branes in asymptotically nearly AdS2 spacetimes. We quantize this theory in Lorentz signature, and compute the Euclidean path integral summing over topologies including dynamical branes ...

THE time in which Halley lived was crucial in the history of science in more than one respect, but of all its aspects none is more significant than that which shows the restoration of the possibility of cosmological studies. Astronomy before Copernicus was essentially and altogether cosmological.

Celestial amplitudes from UV to IR
Celestial amplitudes represent 4D scattering of particles in boost, rather than the usual energy-momentum, eigenstates and hence are sensitive to both UV and IR physics.

Aspects of AdS2 quantum gravity and the Karch-Randall braneworld
In this paper, we use the Karch-Randall braneworld to study theories of quantum gravity in two dimensional (nearly) anti-de Sitter space (AdS2). We focus on effective gravitational theories in the setup with two Karch-Randall branes embedded in an ...

Gravitational memory in higher dimensions
It is shown that there is a universal gravitational memory effect measurable by inertial detectors in even spacetime dimensions d ≥ 4. The effect falls off at large radius r as r 3−d .

Asymptotic symmetries and celestial CFT
We provide a unified treatment of conformally soft Goldstone modes which arise when spin-one or spin-two conformal primary wavefunctions become pure gauge for certain integer values of the conformal dimension ∆.

A d-dimensional stress tensor for Minkd+2 gravity
We consider the tree-level scattering of massless particles in (d+2)-dimensional asymptotically flat spacetimes. The S $$ \mathcal{S} $$-matrix elements are recast as correlation functions of local operators living on a space-like cut ℳ d of the null ...

Generalizations of the Sommerfield and Schwinger models
The Sommerfield model with a massive vector field coupled to a massless fermion in 1+1 dimensions is an exactly solvable analog of a Bank-Zaks model.
