Separation and Purification Technology, 2018Abstract Polyelectrolyte composite nanofiltration membranes were prepared using layer-by-layer self-assembly of chitosan and poly(acrylic acid) on a microporous polyethersulfone substrate. Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics, 1999Polymeric multilayer films are self-assembled by alternating electrostatic adsorption of a coloured polyanion and UV-labeled polycations which exhibit polysoap characteristics. Langmuir, 2004We describe a method to embed phospholipid vesicles into polyelectrolyte multilayers built up by the alternate deposition of polyanions and polycations.
