Introduction: A successful root canal therapy is largely dependent on thorough chemo-mechanical debridement of the root canal space. However, mechanical preparation inadvertently forms an amorphous layer, known as the “smear layer.” Traditionally used ...

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

The Effect of Uterine Closure Methods During Cesarean Section on Isthmocele Development
Objective: Isthmocele is frequently encountered due to the increasing rates of cesarean deliveries nowadays. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of uni-layer and dual-layer uterine closure techniques in preventing isthmocele formation 6 months ...

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

The wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) process often begins printing on a substrate. In some cases, the substrate could act as a functional part of the WAAM-fabricated parts. In this work, ER70S-6 is directly deposited onto a 316L substrate using the

A tri‐culture of iPSC‐derived neurons, astrocytes, and microglia treated with ferroptosis inducers as an Induced ferroptosis model was characterized by scRNA‐seq, cell survival, and cytokine release assays. This analysis revealed diverse microglial transcriptomic changes, indicating that the system captures key aspects of the complex cellular ...
