Fatigue limit of shot peened LC9 aluminum alloy

Metals and Materials International, 1996
The effects of shot peening on the three-point bending fatigue limit are described for LC9 aluminum alloy. Examination of the fatigue fracture surfaces revealed that the fatigue cracks were initiated under the hardened layer, depending upon the compressive residual stress (CRS) distribution.

Fatigue Crack Growth of LC9 Aluminum Alloy under Flying Loading with Corrosion Damage

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014
This paper investigates the growth behavior of fatigue cracks initiated at corrosion pits in laboratory coupons of LC9 aluminum alloy subjected to a transport aircraft loading spectrum. Corrosion pits were introduced by exposing the coupons to EXCO solution for a variety of periods to produce corrosion damage varying from mild to severe.

YOLOv8-LC9: a modified YOLOv8 for weld surface detection

Engineering Research Express
Abstract In order to address the computational resource constraints experienced in weld inspection equipment, this study proposes YOLOv8-LC9, a lightweight real-time detection model. The model is built upon ResNet, integrating depthwise, group, and pointwise convolutions to construct lightweight feature extraction modules (C9 and C3Ghost)
