Utilizing Life's Crucial 9 for Rheumatoid Arthritis Risk Prediction: A Machine Learning Approach Based on NHANES Data. [PDF]

open access: yesFood Sci Nutr
This study based on NHANES 2011–2018 (16,154 adults) found that higher LC9 score is an independent protective factor for rheumatoid arthritis (RA), with each 1‐unit increase associated with a 27% lower risk (OR = 0.73). An XGBoost machine learning model integrating LC9 and clinical covariates achieved excellent predictive performance (test AUC = 0.987).
