The sixth generation (6G) wireless networks are used to provide a large coverage, and also this generation needed to support different emerging applications in harsh areas with higher user equipment mobility. For the above case, a new modulation technique called orthogonal time–frequency space (OTFS) modulation has emerged as a promising technique to ...

Comparing GFDM With OFDM for Use in 6G Communication From a New Perspective
The most important challenges facing 6G communication systems are the large amount of data and low latency as compared to previous generations. Therefore, it has become necessary to use advanced technologies to meet the requirements of 6G wireless communication systems.

Non-binary protograph low-density parity-check codes for space communications
Protograph-based non-binary low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes with ultra-sparse parity-check matrices are compared with binary LDPC and turbo codes (TCs) from space communication standards.

Effective identification of dominant fully absorbing sets for Raptor-like LDPC codes
The error-rate floor of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes is attributed to the trapping sets of their Tanner graphs. Among them, fully absorbing sets dominantly affect the error-rate performance, especially for short blocklengths.

The Analytical Description of Regular LDPC Codes Correcting Ability
The analytical description of regular LDPC (Low-Density Parity Check) codes correcting ability has been investigated. The statistical dependencies for the maximum number of corrected bits per the code word as a function of LDPC code word length and code ...

Design and Performance Analysis of BCH Codes Construction Over Eisenstein Local Rings Zpsω
A systematic study of BCH codes construction over Eisenstein local rings Zpsω for p ≡ 2(mod3), giving novel structural information to the coding theory, is known as a systematic code study. The rate of code learning, the error‐adjusting program’s potential, and the number of words in the code words are the key factors in determining how well the codes ...

Graph-Based Codes and Iterative Decoding [PDF]
The field of error correcting codes was revolutionized by the introduction of turbo codes in 1993. These codes demonstrated dramatic performance improvements over any previously known codes, with significantly lower complexity.
