Apristurus iterum, a new shark discovered based on egg case morphology and sequence data obtained from a formalin‐fixed specimen

open access: yesJournal of Fish Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Apristurus iterum, a new species of deepwater catshark, is described from northeastern Australia. The new species is diagnosed through examination of its unique egg case morphology based on a single whole gravid female specimen and 10 egg cases deposited in different Australian ichthyological collections.

Editing a gibberellin receptor gene improves yield and nitrogen fixation in soybean

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, EarlyView.
Knockout of the soybean gibberellin receptor gene GmGID1‐2 reduced plant height; strengthened stems; increased the number of branches, nodes, pods, and seeds; and improved yield, seed oil content and nitrogen fixation. ABSTRACT Soybean is an important source of oil, protein, and feed. However, its yield is far below that of major cereal crops.

A single‐MYB transcription factor GmMYB331 regulates seed oil accumulation and seed size/weight in soybean

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, EarlyView.
The soybean transcription factor GmMYB331 regulates oil content and seed size. Moderate expression of GmMYB331 significantly enhanced seed oil accumulation, and strong expression promoted increased seed size. This research provides a genetic resource and theoretical foundation for high‐yield and quality breeding in soybean.

Goal Hierarchies: Understanding Sub‐Goal and Primary Goal Interdependency

open access: yesJournal of Management Studies, EarlyView.
Abstract There is increased research on how organizations respond to performance feedback on multiple goals. Most of it considers goals that have ambiguous ranking and thus differs from goal hierarchies with sub‐goals that are instrumental for accomplishing a primary goal.
