Guiding AlphaFold to predict how Munc13‐1 opens Syntaxin‐1
The syntaxin‐1 Habc‐domain (orange), linker (pink) and SNARE motif (yellow) form a closed conformation that binds to Munc18‐1 (violet) and is opened by the Munc13‐1 MUN domain (cyan) to form the SNARE complex that triggers neurotransmitter release.

Delivery of DNA‐encoded vaccines and proteins in mice using cutaneous suction‐mediated transfection
Cutaneous suction‐mediated transfection in mice for delivery of DNA‐encoded vaccines and proteins. A critical limitation of DNA vaccines and other therapeutics is transfection in vivo to produce the encoded antigens or therapeutic proteins. Cutaneous suction‐based methods have demonstrated effectiveness in many animal models and have been successfully ...

Lipid Mobilization and Acyl-Coenzyme A Dehydrogenase Abundance in the Postpharyngeal Gland of a Leaf-Cutting Ant [PDF]
The postpharyngeal gland (PPG) in ants has a central role in lipidaccumulation. Our objective was to investigate whether the PPG ofworkers of the leaf-cutting ant Atta sexdens rubropilosa (F.) performslipid mobilization to the hemolymph, and to verify whether lipidsin gland cells are in part oxidized to acetyl-CoA.

The brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys, mainly secretes 4‐oxo‐(E)‐2‐hexenal, (E)‐2‐decenal, dodecane and tridecane, a mixture representative of that released by many heteropterans. We demonstrated that H. halys can synthesise these secretory components de novo using dietary glucose.

Secretory structures on the leaf rachis of Caesalpinieae and Mimosoideae (Leguminosae): implications for the evolution of nectary glands [PDF]
Cup‐ or sometimes slit‐shaped nectary glands on the rachis are a widespread trait in the legume subfamily Mimosoideae, especially in derived tribes. Their spotty occurrence in genera that appear to be basal has led to uncertainty about when in the mimosoid radiation this character evolved.

Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane
An in vitro protocol measures miRNA uptake into endosomes isolated from mammalian cell extracts, which are free of subcellular contaminants. Performed at 37 °C in the presence of ATP, it ensures the import of single‐stranded miRNA into the endosomal lumen.

Comparative Effectiveness and Safety of Inebilizumab Versus Rituximab in AQP4‐IgG‐Positive NMOSD
ABSTRACT Objective Rituximab (anti‐CD20, RTX) and inebilizumab (anti‐CD19, INE) represent B‐cell‐depleting therapies used for aquaporin‐4 antibody‐positive (AQP4‐IgG+) neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD); however, direct comparative evidence remains limited.
