Impact of Pollution Location on Time and Frequency Characteristics of Leakage Current of Porcelain Insulator String under Different Humidity and Contamination Severity [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Operation and Automation in Power Engineering, 2007
One of the important factors influencing outdoor insulators performance is pollution phenomenon. The pollution, especially during humidity condition, reduces superficial resistance of insulator and lead to a flow of Leakage Currents (LC) on the insulator

The Evaluation of Daily Comparative Leakage Currents on Porcelain and Silicone Rubber Insulators Under Natural Environmental Conditions

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
In this research, the leakage current (LC) and applied voltage waveforms on samples of installed outdoor porcelain and silicone rubber (SIR) insulators were measured by using a storage digital oscilloscope concurrent with humidity, temperature, and ...

Study on surface leakage current at sidewall in InP-based avalanche photodiodes with mesa structure

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2022
A multi-mesa InGaAs/InP avalanche photodiode (APD) with the advantage of the completely restricted electric field is proposed. The surface defects, which are the reasons for the sidewall leakage current generation in the mesa-structure APD, are ...

Temperature Dependence of Electron Leakage Current in InGaN Blue Light-Emitting Diode Structures

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2022
We investigated the temperature dependence of the electron leakage current in the AlGaN electron-blocking layer (EBL) of an InGaN/GaN blue light-emitting diode (LED) structure at temperatures between 20 and 100 °C.

Leakage current analysis of silicon diode with anode activated by furnace annealing or laser annealing using deep level transient spectroscopy

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2020
Silicon P-i-N diodes with a p+ region in the anode—where boron atoms are implanted and activated with relatively low-temperature furnace annealing (FA) or high-temperature laser annealing (LA)—show a large difference between the leakage currents of the ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...
