Intrinsic Photoactive Star ZnPc–Poly(glutamate) Nanoplatforms for Multimodal Glioblastoma Therapy and Brain‐Targeted Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An intrinsic photoactive star‐shaped zinc phtalocyanine‐poly(L‐glutamic acid) (ZnPc‐PGA) nanoplatform for multimodal glioblastoma (GBM) therapy and brain‐targeted elivery. A ZnPc‐PGA‐based multifunctional theranostic nanocarrier platform enables image‐guided, multimodal GBM therapy. ZnPc‐PGA nanocarriers support the integration of fluorescence imaging,

Estimating permeability distribution of leakage pathways along existing wellbores

open access: yes, 2012
textIncreasing surface pressure buildup levels and surface venting flow rates on intermediate wellbore casing strings provided an opportunity to analyze wellbore field data to determine a distribution of leakage path permeability values. The gas leakage

A Non-Ideal Geometry Based Prediction Approach of Fitting Performance and Leakage Characteristic of Precision Couplings

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Since current studies on the leakage flow of precision couplings are based on the ideal smooth surface, neglecting the influence of geometric structures of machined surfaces, here we proposed a non-ideal geometry-based approach in this paper to perform a

Numerical Analysis on Pipeline Leakage Characteristics for Incompressible Flow

open access: yesJournal of Applied Fluid Mechanics, 2019
Systematic Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations on incompressible water pipe flow with leakage were conducted in the present study. The aim is to provide the understanding of how different parameters, including the leakage pipe diameter, inlet mass flow rate, and main pipe length, affect the flow phenomena at the vicinity of the leakage ...

Memristor‐Driven Active‐Matrix Organic Light‐Emitting Diode for Energy Efficient and High‐Resolution Displays

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that memristors can replace conventional 2T–1C driving circuits with simplified 1T–1 m architectures by exploiting resistance switching. With ultra‐low switching voltages (< ±0.2 V) and multi‐level resistance states, the memristors precisely control the current injected into organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs).

Temperature development in the leakage flow of screw extruders [PDF]

open access: yes, 1978
Temperature distribution at the exit of the leakage gap is of interest for a number of problems. For the calculation of temperatures, the leakage flow may be considered to be a pure drag flow to a good approximation.

NASAL LEAKAGE OF THE AIR FLOW IN CLEFT PALATE SPEECH

open access: yesNippon Jibiinkoka Gakkai Kaiho, 1964
Nasal leakege of the air flow in producing Japanese speech sounds was measured on 97 repaired cleft palate cases. The test sounds were 3 vowels(a, i, u) and 2 consonants(b, _??_).On 38 of those cases, p, t, k were tested in addition to above sounds. In general, nasal leakage in vowel utterance was far less than in consonants, and more leakage wes ...
