Correlation Based Ridge Parameters in Ridge Regression with Heteroscedastic Errors and Outliers [PDF]
This paper introduces some new estimators for estimating ridge parameter, based on correlation between response and regressor variables for ridge regression analysis.

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Least Squares Estimation Without Priors or Supervision [PDF]
Selection of an optimal estimator typically relies on either supervised training samples (pairs of measurements and their associated true values) or a prior probability model for the true values. Here, we consider the problem of obtaining a least squares estimator given a measurement process with known statistics (i.e., a likelihood function) and a set

Employment Bootstrapping Approach to Finding New Ratio Estimators in Simple Random Sampling [PDF]
This research boils down to find new ratio estimators instead of estimators of (Kadilar and Cingi ;2004) by replacing the regression parameter of the final estimators, which is estimated by ordinary least squares, with new parameter estimated by ...

The Exact Moments of the Two-Stage Least Squares Estimators in the General Dynamic Model [PDF]
While there has been an extensive literature on the estimation methods (mostly large sample) for the model yt = a yt_i + XtB there has been no serious attempt on the estimation analysis for the model consdering finite sample.

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

The performance of some new estimated ridge parameter regression model [PDF]
In the presence of high correlation between the independent variables in the linear regression model, which is known as the multicollinearity problem, the ordinary least squares estimator produces large variations in the sample. To overcome this problem,

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.
