Revisiting the typification of Lippia riedeliana (Verbenaceae)

Abstract The present study revisits the previously selected lectotype for Lippia riedeliana, which was designated in a proposal to reject this name. According to our reinterpretation, this typification was based on non‐original material and, therefore, must be superseded. The holotype is at LE, and this specimen must be cited accordingly.
