This study investigates the phytochemical composition and biopharmacological potential of the extracts from three Hypericum species (H. scabrum, H. lysimachioides, and H. uniglandulosum) from Turkey. The results indicate significant therapeutic potential for these extracts, supporting their development as natural agents against oxidative stress ...

Transcriptional Signatures of the Right Ventricle in End‐Stage Heart Failure
ABSTRACT The molecular mechanisms driving right ventricular (RV) adaptation to stress and failure in end‐stage heart failure (HF) are largely unknown. We aimed to characterize myocardial transcriptional changes in the RV caused by left sided HF and comparing RV compensation to failure.

Insect immunity in the Anthropocene
ABSTRACT Anthropogenic activities result in global change, including climate change, landscape degradation and pollution, that can alter insect physiology and immune defences. These changes may have contributed to global insect decline and the dynamics of insect‐transmitted diseases.

Neuroimmune Pain and Its Manipulation by Pathogens
ABSTRACT Recent studies highlight extensive crosstalk that exists between sensory neurons responsible for pain and the immune system. Cutaneous pain neurons detect harmful microbes, recruit immune cells, and produce anticipatory immunity in nearby tissues. These complementary systems generally protect hosts from infections.
