Study on bryophyte flora from Yangjifeng Nature Reserve, Jiangxi Province, China

A new species ofOmphalanthus(Lejeuneaceae) from Cuba

AbstractThe new species Omphalanthus baracoensis, from the Yunque de Baracoa plateau, southeastern Cuba, is described and illustrated. The species is related to the widely distributed Omphalanthus filiformis, but differs in the presence of a large tooth at the lobule apex.

Phylogenetic analyses of a three-marker dataset of Lejeuneaceae (chloroplast genome rbcL gene and trnL–trnF region, and nuclear ribosomal ITS1–5.8S-ITS2 region) resolve Lejeunea huctumalcensis (synonym Ceratolejeunea dussiana) in a well supported lineage with Physantholejeunea portoricensis.
