Programmed Interfacial Phase Separation for Spatiotemporal Fungicide Delivery via Tunable Micro/Nano Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Translating dynamic liquid‐liquid phase separation into robust solid‐state architectures remains a challenge in materials engineering. Here, we report a composition‐driven interfacial assembly strategy that couples supramolecular coacervation with metal‐phenolic coordination to engineer tunable fungicide carriers.

SW2D-Lemon: A New Software for Upscaled Shallow Water Modeling

open access: yes, 2022
We present a new multi-OS platform named SW2D-LEMON (SW2D for Shallow Water 2D) developed by the LEMON research team in Montpellier. SW2D-LEMON is a multi-model software focusing on shallow waterbased models. It includes an unprecedented collection of upscaled (porosity) models used for shallow water equations and transport-reaction processes. Porosity

The BTB/POZ‐MATH Protein ZmBPM1 Interacts With Autophagy‐related Protein ZmATG6 and Modulates the NLR Protein Rp1‐D21‐Mediated Defense Response in Maize

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The maize BTB/POZ‐MATH (BPM) protein ZmBPM1 interacts with autophagy‐related protein ZmATG6 to relocate the NLR protein Rp1‐D21 from the nucleo‐cytoplasmic compartment into autophagosome‐like puncta, leading to autophagy‐mediated turnover and suppressing the hypersensitive response.

Low Participation and Risk Reduction Potential of Supplemental Crop Insurance in the United States

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Federally subsidized crop insurance is a cornerstone of U.S. farm risk management, yet policies with the greatest share of participation only trigger indemnities after losses exceed 15%. Supplemental insurance was introduced to cover part of this deductible, but participation remains largely unchanged.
