Leptodactylus mystaceus (Spix, 1824) Citada por Cochran (1955:313) en base a un ejemplar con procedencia “Montevideo” depositado en el Musée Royale d’ Histoire Naturelle de Bélgica (MRNHIG 4544 reg. 392). Gorham (1966: 132) volvió a incluir Uruguay en la distribución de esta especie.

Leptodactylus ocellatus Linnaeus
1971Adult male and female individuals were collected in the vicinity of La Plata, Argentina. The karyotypes were prepared by N. O. Bianchi and J. O. Molina in the laboratories of the Comision de Investigacion Cientifica de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, La Plata, Argentina.
