Stability of Commercial nc‐Si:H Heterojunction Solar Cells Under Variable Illumination
High‐intensity light treatments enhance initial solar cell efficiency but trigger long‐term degradation. By combining hydrogen profiling and lifetime modeling, this study reveals how hydrogen migration at the interface impacts passivation stability.

This study investigates the degradation of four monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) modules after nine years of outdoor exposure in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's tropical climate. Using visual inspection, electroluminescence, and electrical performance analyses, the modules exhibited an average power loss of 40.35%, primarily due to encapsulant ...

Reliability of Commercial TOPCon PV Modules—An Extensive Comparative Study
Commercial PV modules based on the TOPCon technology showed significant degradation (PMPP) in some accelerated aging tests, especially damp heat and UV tests. After indoor UV aging, the modules exhibited a degradation and recovery behavior, whose mechanism and practical relevance is still under investigation.

Impact of LeTID in Industrial P- and Sb-Doped n-Type Cz-Si With Melt Recharging
In this study the impact of treatments under illumination at elevated temperatures on the long-term stability of excess carrier lifetime in state-of-the-art melt recharging Czochralski-grown silicon with n-type dopants is investigated.

The presence of light‐ and elevated‐temperature‐induced degradation (LeTID) defects after the fast‐firing step is observed in n‐type silicon by demonstrating the existence of the temporary recovery (TR), the reverse reaction to LeTID, alongside TR's unique properties.

Light‐ and temperature‐induced degradation (LeTID) of Si‐based solar cells is studied using low‐temperature photo‐ and electroluminescence and deep‐level transient spectroscopy during the on‐stage degradation/regeneration process. Based on the obtained and previously reported data, LeTID reflects hydrogen dynamics between extended defects present in ...
