Effects of LH-RH agonist or LH-RH immunoneutralization on pituitary and ovarian LH-RH receptors in female rats [PDF]
Hyperstimulation of pituitary function using daily injections of 50,500 or 5000 ng LH-RH agonist for 3 weeks or hypostimulation by immunoneutralization of endogenous LH-RH led to disrupted oestrous cycles and profound changes in ovarian morphology. Despite this, the number of pituitary and ovarian LH-RH receptors remained within the range found in ...

Little Higgs model effects in $\gamma \gamma \to \gamma \gamma$ [PDF]
Though the predictions of the Standard Model (SM) are in excellent agreement with experiments there are still several theoretical problems associated with the Higgs sector of the SM, where it is widely believed that some ``{\it new physics}'' will take ...

We identified adaptor protein ShcD as upregulated in triple‐negative breast cancer and found its expression to be correlated with reduced patient survival and increased invasion in cell models. Using a proteomic screen, we identified novel ShcD binding partners involved in EGFR signaling pathways.

Implementing the modified LH algorithm [PDF]
In this lengthy paper the authors give an explicit method to use a modified Lemke-Howson algorithm for the computation of equilibria in bimatrix games. The algorithm works for non-degenerate games only (as usual for Lemke/Howson-like algorithms). The advantage of this algorithm in contrast with other already known solution methods lies in the fact that

Non‐thermal plasma treatment of melanoma cells induced epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in a dose‐dependent fashion. This report highlights the critical need to further investigate potential adverse effects of non‐thermal plasma for cancer therapy and to optimize treatment parameters for clinical translation. Despite the promising results of non‐

Mechanism of LH Release with Synthetic LH-RH
In a 2-part study 15 female baboons were injected with 100 mcg luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LH-RH) sc in the early follicular and early luteal phases to examine the mechanism of LH release. Assays of blood samples after the luteal-phase injection showed a peak plasma level of LH-RH at 4 minutes with a sharp then slow decline.

Genomics‐led approach to drug testing in models of undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma
GA text Genomic data from undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma patients and preclinical models were used to inform a targeted drug screen. Selected compounds were tested in 2D and 3D cultures of UPS cell lines. A combination of trametinib and infigratinib was synergistic in the majority of UPS cell lines tested, which was further confirmed in an ex ...
