Expression of Lipid-Protein Gene PLP2 in Liaoning Cashmere Goat.

open access: yesAnimal Biotechnology, 2019
The relationship between PLP2 gene and cashmere fiber quality of Liaoning cashmere goat was investigated. The sheep fibroblast cells were treated with exogenous cytokines and melatonin, independently, and RNA interference, RT-PCR and in situ hybridization were utilized for investigating the PLP2 gene regulation mechanism underlying the Liaoning ...

Proteomics analysis of the secondary hair follicle cycle in Liaoning cashmere goat

Small Ruminant Research, 2021
Abstract Cashmere is an important economic resource for the agricultural industry. The secondary hair follicle cycle can control the yield and quality of cashmere. Therefore, to improve the yield and quality of cashmere in Liaoning cashmere goats, an understanding of the skin proteomic changes in the secondary hair follicle cycle is needed.

Effects of sodium arsenite and dimethyl arsenic acid on Liaoning cashmere goat skin fibroblasts

Environmental Science and Pollution Research, 2021
The morphology and oxidation state of arsenic in its compounds affects the skin cell toxicity. Accordingly, the present study was conducted to explore the effects of two different arsenic compounds on the proliferation and survival of Liaoning cashmere goat skin fibroblasts. Based on MTT assay results, at 24 h, the proliferation concentration, critical

Construction of a cDNA Library and Identification of Genes From Liaoning Cashmere Goat

Livestock Science, 2014
We constructed a skin cDNA library of the Liaoning cashmere goat during follicle anagen. The recombination was over 89%. A total of 1986 expressed sequence tags (ESTs) were sequenced. After assembly, 1126 ESTs that were homologous to functionally characterized or hypothetical proteins were obtained.

Revealing Dynamics of Protein Phosphorylation: A Study on the Cashmere Fineness Disparities in Liaoning Cashmere Goats

Molecular Biotechnology
Exploring the landscape of protein phosphorylation, this investigation focuses on skin samples from LCG (Liaoning Cashmere Goats), characterized by different levels of cashmere fineness. Employing LC-MS/MS technology, we meticulously scrutinized FT-LCG (fine-type Liaoning Cashmere Goats) and CT-LCG (coarse-type Liaoning Cashmere Goats). Identifying 512

Long noncoding RNA and gene expression analysis of melatonin-exposed Liaoning cashmere goat fibroblasts indicating cashmere growth

The Science of Nature, 2018
Cashmere produced from Liaoning cashmere goat is highly valuable. Melatonin is an important factor affecting cashmere growth and can regulate the growth cycle via effects on gene expression. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) regulate gene expression, but detailed studies of their effect on hair growth are lacking. To explore how lncRNA mediates the effects

Influence of Different Dietary Zinc Levels on Cashmere Growth, Plasma Testosterone Level and Zinc Status in Male Liaoning Cashmere Goats

Journal of Animal Physiology and Animal Nutrition, 2015
SummaryThe experiment was conducted to investigate the influence of different levels of zinc (Zn) on cashmere growth, plasma testosterone and Zn profile in male Cashmere goats. Twenty‐eight male Liaoning Cashmere goats, 3 years old and body weight at 56.2 ± 2.45 kg, were assigned to four groups.
