Lifetime costs and lifetime net public expenditures of smoking [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Public Health, 2021
AbstractBackgroundCurrent estimates of lifetime costs of smoking are largely based on model analyses using etiologic fractions for a variety of diseases or Markov chain models. Direct estimation studies based on individual data for health costs by smoking status over a lifetime are non-existent.MethodsWe estimated lifetime costs in a societal ...

Simulation study for lifetime distribution of middle-of-line time-dependent dielectric breakdown affected by global and local spacing variations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The impact of process fluctuations for the lifetime distribution of middle-of-line time-dependent dielectric breakdown was investigated by Monte-Carlo simulation. Global and local variations were simulated using a doubly truncated normal distribution.

Overlapping Length and Lifetime Influence on Load of Simple Over-lapped Adhesive Bond [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava, Mechanical Series, 2011
A production process is various in single industrial branches; it usually has one common element – bonding pieces of material. We can say on the base of the production sphere analysis that simple overlapped adhesive bonds are the most common adhesive ...

D-meson lifetimes [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1987
Abstract We present the final results on the D-meson liftime measurements obtained by the NA27 experiment. From a sample of 145 D 0 D 0 and 149 D ± decays, we have measured τ (D 0 )=(4.6 +0.6 −0.5 )×10 −13 s, τ (D ± )=(11.2 +1.4 −1.1 )×10 −13 s, with a ratio R= τ( D ± ) τ( D 0 ) =2.4±0.4 .

Effects of Substitution Position of Carbazole-Dibenzofuran Based High Triplet Energy Hosts to Device Stability of Blue Phosphorescent Organic Light-Emitting Diodes

open access: yesMolecules, 2021
High triplet energy hosts were developed through the modification of the substitution position of carbazole units. Two carbazole-dibenzofuran-derived compounds, 9,9′-(dibenzo[b,d]furan-2,6-diyl)bis(9H-carbazole) (26CzDBF) and 4,6-di(9H-carbazol-9-yl ...
