Ultra-directional and high-efficiency µLEDs via gradient index filled micro-horn collimators
Micro-LEDs (µLEDs) are poised to transform near-eye AR/VR, display, and optical communication technologies, but they are currently hindered by low light extraction efficiency and non-directional emission. Our study introduces an innovative approach using

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Analysis of light extraction efficiency of GaN-based light-emitting diodes
GaN-based light emitting diodes (LEDs) as one of the most important light source in next-generation solid-state lighting have been extensively studied and remarkable progress has been obtained. However, the light extraction efficiency (LEE) is not sufficient to satisfy application requirements.

Light extraction efficiency enhancement of colloidal quantum dot light-emitting diodes using large-scale nanopillar arrays [PDF]
A colloidal quantum dot light-emitting diode (QLED) is reported with substantially enhanced light extraction efficiency by applying a layer of large-scale, low-cost, periodic nanopillar arrays. Zinc oxide nanopillars are grown on the glass surface of the

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Light Extraction Efficiency in III-Nitride LEDs
Light extraction efficiency (LEE) of GaN-based LEDs is limits mainly by the high refractive index of GaN. We will introduce methods proposed previously and present new methods to further enhance LEE of GaN-based LEDs.
