Tunable fibre-coupled multiphoton microscopy with a negative curvature fibre [PDF]
Negative curvature fibre (NCF) guides light in its core by inhibiting the coupling of core and cladding modes. In this work, an NCF was designed and fabricated to transmit ultrashort optical pulses for multiphoton microscopy with low group velocity ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

On the Determination of the Output Power in Mono/Multicrystalline Photovoltaic Cells
In the present work, two artificial intelligence-based models were proposed to determine the output power of two types of photovoltaic cells including multicrystalline (multi-) and monocrystalline (mono-).

Intrinsic fluctuations in random lasers [PDF]
We present a quantitative experimental and theoretical study of shot-to-shot intensity fluctuations in the emitted light of a random laser. A model that clarifies these intrinsic fluctuations is developed. We describe the output versus input power graphs

We report the improved light output power in gallium nitride-based green flip-chip light-emitting diodes (FCLEDs) employed with inverted tetrahedron-pyramidal micropatterned polydimethylsiloxane (ITPM PDMS) films as an encapsulation and protection layer. The micropatterns are transferred into the surface of PDMS films from the sapphire substrate master

Flexible Fiber Nanogenerator with 209 V Output Voltage Directly Powers a Light-Emitting Diode [PDF]
On the basis of a vertically aligned ultralong Pb(Zr(0.52)Ti(0.48))O(3) (PZT) nanowire array fabricated using electrospinning nanofibers, we developed a new type of integrated nanogenerator (NG) with ultrahigh output voltage of 209 V and current density of 23.5 μA/cm(2), which are 3.6 times and 2.9 times of the previous record values, respectively. The

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...
