An extensive critique on expert system control in solar photovoltaic dominated microgrids
Solar and wind power have recently become a potential option in power systems and act significantly to meet load penetration demands. The present growth of such renewable energy sources has shown an exponential increase. The high penetration of such systems helps a grid effectively meet its load in an irregular demand but also creates some disturbances

A novel approach to touch voltage risk assessment for gas pipelines in shared transmission corridors
Abstract Touch voltages are more likely to appear on long‐distance pipelines that lie in shared corridors with transmission lines. The touch voltage level varies with soil resistivity and can become hazardous while maintenance is being undertaken, necessitating risk assessment.

The connector for Double Ohno relation [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce a new connector which generalizes the connector found by the third author and Yamamoto. The new connector gives a direct proof of the double Ohno relation recently proved by the first author, the second author, Murahara, and Onozuka. Furthermore, we obtain a simultaneous generalization of the ($q$-)Ohno relation and the ($q$-

Lightning Mapping: Techniques, Challenges, and Opportunities [PDF]
Despite the significant progress made in studying the lightning phenomenon, precise location and mapping of its occurrence remain a challenge. Lightning mapping can be determined by studying the electromagnetic radiation accompanying the lightning discharges. It can contribute substantially to efforts made to protect lives and valuable assets.
