New opportunities for bioscaffold‐enabled spinal cord injury repair

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of bioscaffolds for spinal cord injury repair. We summarize the effects of bioscaffold properties on SCI repair, highlight different types of bioscaffolds, various fabrication strategies, and in vivo transformations for the clinical development of SCI‐repairing bioscaffolds.

open access: yes, 1993

Limb-salvage for osteosarcoma.

open access: yesChinese medical journal, 1995
Limb-salvage surgery plays an important role in the treatment of osteosarcoma. Among 104 patients with osteosarcoma we managed from 1974 to 1993, 60 were treated with limb-salvage procedure. 44 patients with IIB tumor received adjuvant chemotherapy, and the five-year survival rate was 46.69%.

Injuries in deep time: interpreting competitive behaviours in extinct reptiles via palaeopathology

open access: yesBiological Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT For over a century, palaeopathology has been used as a tool for understanding evolution, disease in past communities and populations, and to interpret behaviour of extinct taxa. Physical traumas in particular have frequently been the justification for interpretations about aggressive and even competitive behaviours in extinct taxa.
