Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in Children and Adolescents: Expert Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN) is a rare low‐grade malignant exocrine pancreatic tumor, mostly discovered during the second decade of life in females, with a very good prognosis, provided microscopically complete surgical excision is achieved.

Immunoglobulin Depletion and Recovery Following Blinatumomab in Infants With KMT2A‐Rearranged ALL

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Adding blinatumomab to standard chemotherapy for infants with KMT2A‐rearranged acute B‐cell lymphoblastic leukemia (KMT2A‐r B‐ALL) improves outcomes. Although blinatumomab impairs immunoglobulin G (lgG) production, increasing infection susceptibility, IgG recovery remains poorly understood.

Limit cycles in four dimensions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2012
We present an example of a limit cycle, i.e., a recurrent flow-line of the beta-function vector field, in a unitary four-dimensional gauge theory. We thus prove that beta functions of four-dimensional gauge theories do not produce gradient flows. The limit cycle is established in perturbation theory with a three-loop calculation which we describe in ...

Impact of Metastatic Patterns on Survival and Response to Therapy in Neuroblastoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background While the presence of metastases in neuroblastoma (NB) is a well‐established prognostic factor, the clinical significance of dissemination patterns and tumour burden and their impact on response and survival remains poorly understood.

Limit cycles and conformal invariance [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2013
Abstract There is a widely held belief that conformal field theories (CFTs) require zero beta functions. Nevertheless, the work of Jack and Osborn implies that the beta functions are not actually the quantites that decide conformality, but until recently no such behavior had been exhibited.

The Stability for Limit Cycle of Lomax Autoregressive Model

open access: yesTikrit Journal of Pure Science
In this research, we proposed a new non-linear model known as the Lomax autoregressive model, which is based on the cumulative distribution function of the Lomax distribution. Using the local linearization approximation technique, we found stability for

Inpatient Exposure, Confidence, and Knowledge in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology: Evaluating General Pediatric Residents During 2025 ACGME Curriculum Change

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background General pediatricians often evaluate hematologic and oncologic presentations before subspecialty consultation, yet the 2025 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) pediatric requirements reduce inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology (PHO) time, raising questions about resident readiness.

Sociodemographic Factors Associated With Later Stage at Diagnosis of Pediatric Germ Cell Tumors: A Report From Children's Oncology Group Registries ACCRN07 and APEC14B1

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Germ cell tumors (GCTs) often arise in the ovaries and testes (extracranial) but can also develop in the brain (intracranial). We examined the relationship of individual, family, and community‐level socioeconomic status (SES) with stage of disease at diagnosis in a cohort of pediatric patients with GCT from Children's Oncology Group

Consensus Standards and Recommendations for Developmental and Cognitive Surveillance, Screening, and Evaluation in Sickle Cell Disease: Executive Summary From the National Alliance of Sickle Cell Centers Neurocognitive Workgroup

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Neurodevelopmental and neurocognitive difficulties are prevalent among individuals with sickle cell disease and warrant prompt identification and support. This Special Report provides an executive summary of standards and recommendations for surveillance, screening, and evaluation for development and cognition across the lifespan developed by ...
