Refined cyclic renormalization group in Russian doll model
Focusing on Bethe-Ansatz integrable models, robust to both time-reversal symmetry breaking and disorder, we consider the Russian Doll Model (RDM) for finite system sizes and energy levels.

Holographic paramagnetism–ferromagnetism phase transition with the nonlinear electrodynamics
In the probe limit, we investigate the nonlinear electrodynamical effects of the both exponential form and the logarithmic form on the holographic paramagnetism–ferromagnetism phase transition in the background of a Schwarzschild-AdS black hole spacetime.

Antidot tunneling between Quantum Hall liquids with different filling factors
We consider tunneling through two point contacts between two edges of Quantum Hall liquids of different filling factors $\nu_{0,1}=1/ (2m_{0,1}+1)$ with $m_0-m_1\equiv m>0$.

5‐Aminolevulinic acid combined with ferric ammonium citrate (5‐ALA/FAC) stimulates dermal papilla cell activity and promotes hair follicle growth. The treatment enhances ERK and AKT signaling, increases hair‐inductive gene expression, and restores dermal papilla function suppressed by dihydrotestosterone and oxidative stress, resulting in enhanced hair

Most reports on pitch in esophageal speech emphasize that it is low-pitched with a measured fundamental frequency rarely higher than 100 cps. Our investigations show, however, that much esophageal 'phonation' lacks periodicity and, therefore, a ...

Two-scale convergence for locally-periodic microstructures and homogenization of plywood structures
The introduced notion of locally-periodic two-scale convergence allows to average a wider range of microstructures, compared to the periodic one. The compactness theorem for the locally-periodic two-scale convergence and the characterisation of the limit

Mass spectrometry based identification of AMP‐O‐Tris generated by Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10
Isolated Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10 generates the noncanonical ATP‐derived product AMP‐O‐Tris while in Tris‐containing buffer as identified via mass spectrometry, revealing relaxed nucleophile selectivity under isolated conditions. These findings suggest that multiprotein Csm complex assembly restricts Cas10 reactivity toward canonical cyclic ...

Efficient control of fluxonium qubits via nonadiabatic transitions
The fluxonium qubit is a promising platform for quantum operations due to its large anharmonicity and long coherence time. However, conventional resonant driving methods often require long operation times and complex implementation.

Spectral singularities in PT-symmetric periodic finite-gap systems
The origin of spectral singularities in finite-gap singly periodic PT-symmetric quantum systems is investigated. We show that they emerge from a limit of band-edge states in a doubly periodic finite gap system when the imaginary period tends to infinity.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.
