Diffusion of limonene in polyethylene

Food Additives and Contaminants, 2006
Diffusion coefficients of limonene in various linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resins have been determined from sorption data using a thermogravimetric methodology. From these data, one can determine whether polymer synthesis parameters such as the choice of catalytic process or co-monomer result in ...

Synthesis of trans-limonene bis-epoxide by stereoselective epoxidation of (R)-(+)-limonene

Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering, 2021
Abstract Naturally occurring terpenes have been identified as key starting materials for bio-based polymers such as non-isocyanate polyurethanes (NIPUs), having a broad range of applications such as thermoset materials, elastomers, or thermoplastics, etc.

Calorimetric and theoretical studies on the system of {(R)-(+)-limonene+(S)-(-)-limonene}

Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2008
In order to reveal the origin of chiral discrimination, excess molar heat capacities (CP E) of ((R)-(+)-limonene+(S)-(−)-limonene) were determined by using a differential scanning calorimeter at temperatures between T=293.15 and 303.15 K. All CP E curves show S-shape.

Limonene Hydroperoxides

Dermatitis, 2019
Limonene is a fragrance widely used in cosmetics and household products. Until recently, contact allergy to limonene was considered rare because positive patch tests to it were infrequently observed. In recent years, however, it has been demonstrated that exposure of limonene to oxygen (air) results in the formation of a number of oxidation products ...
