Stimulus frequency in the identification of line segments

Psychological Research, 1979
In a complete identification experiment line segments with 0, 45, 90, and 135 degrees orientation were exposed tachistoscopically as stimuli. The four stimuli were identified under three successive frequency conditions: In the first condition the stimuli occurred with equal frequency, in the second condition the stimulus probabilities were 0.4, 0.3, 0 ...

Identification of a forbidden line in Kr xxiii

Physical Review A, 1987
A line at 1462.65 A in the emission spectrum of Alcator-C plasmas seeded with krypton has been identified as the 3s/sup 2/3p/sup 2/ /sup 3/P/sub 0/--3s/sup 2/3p/sup 2/ /sup 3/P/sub 1/ magnetic dipole transition in Si-like krypton.

Experimental on-line identification of an electromechanical system

ISA Transactions, 2004
Identification of electromechanical systems operating in open-loop or closed-loop conditions has long been of prime interest in industrial applications. This paper presents experimental on-line identification of an electromechanical system represented by a digital input/output model.

Automated loop identification on DSL lines

International Journal of Communication Systems, 2009
AbstractRegular ADSL and new FTTN VDSL2 deployments are strongly affected by the telephone loop, or channel, that they transmit over. Telephone companies keep records of the loop make‐up—all cable sections, gauges, lengths and bridged taps between the DSLAM and customer, and these records are vital for loop qualification and maintenance.
