Line-Field Confocal Optical Coherence Tomography Imaging of Psoriasis With Histopathology Correlation. [PDF]
ABSTRACTLine‐field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC‐OCT) is a novel imaging technique for in vivo examination of the skin that has recently been introduced in the dermatologic armamentarium of non‐invasive diagnostic tools. Its usefulness in the diagnosis and treatment monitoring of some neoplastic, inflammatory, and infectious skin conditions

Line-field confocal optical coherence tomography for three-dimensional skin imaging
This paper reports on the latest advances in line-field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC-OCT), a recently invented imaging technology that now allows the generation of either horizontal (x × y) section images at an adjustable depth or vertical (x × z) section images at an adjustable lateral position, as well as three-dimensional images.

Dysflective cones: Visual function and cone reflectivity in long-term follow-up of acute bilateral foveolitis. [PDF]
PURPOSE:Confocal adaptive optics scanning laser ophthalmoscope (AOSLO) images provide a sensitive measure of cone structure. However, the relationship between structural findings of diminished cone reflectivity and visual function is unclear.

Optical coherence tomography- a non-invasive technique applied to conservation of paintings [PDF]
It is current practice to take tiny samples from a painting to mount and examine in cross-section under a microscope. However, since conservation practice and ethics limit sampling to a minimum and to areas along cracks and edges of paintings, which are ...

Skin lesion imaging with line-field confocal optical coherence tomography [PDF]
An improved optical coherence tomography (OCT) technique called line-field confocal OCT (LC-OCT) has been developed for high-resolution skin imaging. Combining the principles of time-domain OCT and confocal microscopy with line illumination and detection, LC-OCT acquires multiple A-scans in parallel with dynamic focusing.
