Starless Cloud Core L1517B in Envelope Expansion with Core Collapse
Various spectral emission lines from star-forming molecular cloud core L1517B manifest red asymmetric double-peaked profiles with stronger red peaks and weaker blue peaks, in contrast to the oft-observed blue-skewed molecular spectral line profiles with ...

ABSTRACT Purpose Pediatric central nervous system (CNS) tumors often recur despite multimodality therapy. Although re‐irradiation (re‐RT) has historically been limited by concerns for severe late toxicities, modern techniques have renewed interest in this approach. Proton therapy provides dosimetric advantages that may enable curative re‐treatment with

Analytical expression for the convolution of a Fano line profile with a Gaussian
Asymmetric Fano line profiles are frequently encountered, e.g., in the photoionization spectra of atoms and ions. For the fitting of spectral line profiles to experimental spectra the line profiles have to be convolved with the experimental window ...

Reprocessed emission from warped accretion discs with application to X-ray iron line profiles [PDF]
Flourescent iron line profiles currently provide the best diagnostic for active galactic nuclei (AGN) engine geometries. Here we construct a method for calculating the relativistic iron line profile from an arbitrarily warped accretion disc, illuminated ...

ABSTRACT In pediatric patients, T‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T‐LBL) survival exceeds 80%. Relapse remains associated with limited curative options. Frontline treatment is largely extrapolated from T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) treatment, reflecting the ongoing debate, whether both entities represent distinct diseases or variants within ...

A catalogue of Paschen-line profiles in standard stars
We have assembled an atlas of line profiles of the Paschen Delta line at 10,049 angstroms for the use of stellar modelling. For a few stars we have substituted the Paschen Gamma line at 10,938 angstroms because the Paschen Delta line blends with other ...

ABSTRACT Background Blinatumomab is a bispecific T‐cell engager approved for the treatment of pediatric B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL). Outpatient home infusion reduces hospitalization burden and optimizes resource utilization, but is logistically challenging.

The Peculiar Balmer Line Profiles of OQ 208
We present spectrophotometric observations of the Broad Line Radio Galaxy OQ 208 (Mrk 668, 1404+286) obtained between 1985 and 1991. We show that the Balmer line fluxes and profile shapes undergo remarkable changes.

Line profile variations in Doradus [PDF]
We present data from high-dispersion echelle spectra and simultaneous uvby photometry for γ Doradus. These data were obtained from several sites during 1994 November as part of the MUSICOS-94 campaign. The star has two closely-spaced periods of about 0.75 d and is the brightest member of a new class of variable early F-type stars.
