The linear polarization constant of R^n
The present work contributes to the determination of the n-th linear polarization constant cn(H) of an n-dimensional real Hilbert space H. We provide some new lower bounds on the value of supkyk=1 | hx1, yi · · · hxn, yi |, where x1, . . .

This paper presents a linear-to-dual-circular polarization metasurface decomposer, which decomposes a linearly polarized (LP) planar incident wave into a pair of circular polarized (CP) waves, namely, a right-handed circular polarized (RHCP) wave and a ...

Simple design of efficient broadband multifunctional polarization converter for X-band applications
A simple design of a broadband multifunctional polarization converter using an anisotropic metasurface for X-band application is proposed. The proposed polarization converter consists of a periodic array of the two-corner-cut square patch resonators ...

Multi-polarization selective absorber based on terahertz metasurface
Tunable absorbers attract much attention due to their wide applications, such as integrated optical sensors, multiplexing far-field imaging and so on. In this paper, we design a multi-polarization selective absorber based on terahertz metasurface, whose ...

On the real linear polarization constant problem
The present paper deals with lower bounds for the norm of products of linear forms. It has been proved by J. Arias-de-Reyna [2], that the so-called n(th) linear polarization constant c(n)(C-n) is n(n/2), for arbitrary n is an element of N. The same value

Experimental Validation of a Multi-Functional Metasurface for 5G and Satellite Communication
In this article, a single layer, ultrathin, multiband, and multifunctional reflective polarization converting metasurface (PCMS) is presented that can perform linear to linear (LTL) orthogonally with respect to the incident polarization, also called ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Graphene-based tunable linear and linear-to-circular polarization converters in the THz band
A switchable and tunable reflective terahertz (THz) polarization converter based on graphene metamaterial is designed and analyzed. By changing the Fermi energy level of graphene, the converter can achieve broadband linear polarization conversion (LPC ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...
