How Linear Is “Linear” Polyaniline?
The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2011The structure of emeraldine salt and emeraldine bases with different molar weight and their behavior in electrochemical doping was studied by different spectroscopic and spectroelectrochemical techniques. By Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, the branching of the polymer chain at tri- and tetrasubstituted benzene rings as well as the ...

Non-linear analysis of a linear-non-linear-linear system
International Journal of Systems Science, 1992Abstract There are many non-linear systems in the field of biological systems, control systems and communication systems. The identification of non-linear system is a fundamental problem in these fields. Many investigations of non-linear systems have been carried out from the viewpoint of parameter identification.

AbstractA case of linear porokeratosis in a 14‐year‐old girl was reported. The lesions started from the right forearm and extended to the right breast. Histological examinations showed cornoid lamella in the horny layer and dyskeratotic cells in the spinous layer beneath the cornoid lamella.

In this paper we present system Ltree for propositional supervised learning. Ltree is able to define decision surfaces both orthogonal and oblique to the axes defined by the attributes of the input space. This is done combining a decision tree with a linear discriminant by means of constructive induction.

Four experiments established complex choice responses a few seconds in duration. A response was reinforced if it sufficiently approximated a `target' response. The two target responses in each experiment were linear in the sense that they involved either constant rates, or constant rates of change, in component key pecking by pigeons.

Linear images of linear groups
Revista Matemática Complutense, 2014Let \(G\) be a subgroup of \(\text{GL}(n,F)\), where \(F\) is a field. Assume that \(N\) is a (Zariski) closed normal subgroup of \(G\). Then, it is well-known that the factor group \(G/N\) is isomorphic to a subgroup of \(\text{GL}(m,F)\) for some integer \(m\).

Dermatomyofibroma is a rare, plaque-like, cutaneous myofibroblastic proliferation that usually presents as a 1-2 cm, firm, dermal plaque, often with brown-red discoloration. We report an example of dermatomyofibroma presenting as a poorly defined, linear, indurated area, 8 cm in length, on the posterior aspect of the neck of a 20-year-old female.

We treated six eyes of five patients with linear endotheliitis. This entity appears clinically as a line of keratic precipitates on the corneal endothelium that progresses centrally and is accompanied by peripheral stromal and epithelial edema. All five patients had ocular pain, redness, and photophobia.
