Linear active disturbance rejection control for a raceway photobioreactor
Control Engineering Practice, 2019Abstract In this paper, the problem of pH regulation in photobioreactors has been addressed by using a robust Proportional–Integral controller in combination with a linear active disturbance rejection approach. This formulation is based on the Generalized Proportional–Integral (GPI) observers design to estimate online external disturbances and non ...

Feedback Linearization with Active Disturbance Rejection for Entry Guidance
2019 Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2019The phase in which the Mars probe enters the atmosphere is the most important phase to ensure the accuracy of the landing of the vehicle and the trajectory tracking in the entry phase is achieved by controlling the bank angle. Considering the large external disturbance during the actual flight, this paper proposes a method to compensate dynamically the

Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control Design for Single-Phase UPS Inverters
IECON 2021 – 47th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2021This paper presents a step-by-step analysis of the Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control (LADRC) for single-phase Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) application. In UPS application, the regulated output voltage with low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) under different load conditions and disturbances is the desirable. To achieve this goal, LADRC

Aiming at the model of the three-phase four-leg (3P4L) standalone inverter connected to the nonlinear load of the single-phase rectifier bridge, an unbalanced harmonic compensation strategy is proposed. It is based on Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control (LADRC) and adds harmonic compensation information and N-phase control information to modify

An autonomous steering approach based on linear active disturbance rejection control
2018 IEEE 14th International Conference on Control and Automation (ICCA), 2018Automatically driving vehicle’s steering control is investigated. The problem is simplified as a dynamic model of wheeled mobile robot, and a linear active disturbance rejection controller is designed to make the robot reach the desired direction angle. Root locus method is used to tune the parameters of the controller.

Position control of a linear ultrasonic motor: An active disturbance rejection approach
2018 15th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE), 2018This paper presents a general overview of the theory and operation of Linear Ultrasonic Motors (LUMs). A nominal linear model of the LUM is used to perform the parametric estimation. Subsequently, with the estimated parameters, two controllers are designed to carry out the nano-positioning using a Proportional-Derivative (PD) controller plus a ...

Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control Based on UKF Identification
2018 IEEE CSAA Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference (CGNCC), 2018To improve the estimation result of the linear extended state observer (LESO), we propose a linear active disturbance rejection control strategy based on the UKF identification. We use the UKF identification method to identify the unknown parameters of the system model and the controller gain $\mathrm {b}_{0}$ of the linear active disturbance rejection

Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control From the Practical Aspects
IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, 2018In this paper, important issues that could come up in practice of active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) due to a common assumption and some inevitable practical restrictions are investigated. The main idea behind ADRC is modeling effects of both internal uncertainties and external disturbances as an extra state called the total disturbance which ...

Non-linear active disturbance rejection control for upper limb rehabilitation exoskeleton
Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part I: Journal of Systems and Control Engineering, 2020Trajectory tracking in upper limb rehabilitation exercises is utilized for repeatability of joint movement to improve the patient’s recovery in the early stages of rehabilitation. In this article, non-linear active disturbance rejection control as a combination of non-linear extended-state observer and non-linear state error feedback is used for the ...
